Olympic and Paralympic team nomination
The Trials in Calgary will culminate on Canada Day (July 1) with Athletics Canada's nominations to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic teams. The event will see the nomination of selected athletes as well as the official unveiling of Athletics Canada's Nike national team uniforms which will be worn for the first time in London at the Olympic Games. Hall of Fame Class of 2012
2011 saw the launch of Athletics Canada's Hall of Fame and the inauguration of the Class if 2011.

Calgary will once again play Hall of Fame host in 2012 as Athletics Canada honours the Class of 2012 during Trials weekend. To nominate an athlete, builder or coach to the Class of 2012 please visit www.athletics.ca/halloffame. The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2012.
